Teams
Create your organization and organize people into teams.
Your organization is your church or ministry account — everything in Cadence lives inside it. Within an organization, teams are sub-groups like your worship, tech, or teaching team. Teams make it easy to assign work and scope access to the right group of people.
Don't confuse teams (groups of people) with Members (the people themselves) or Permission sets (what people can do). They work together: you put members on teams, and you grant access with permission sets.

Organizations and teams
- An organization is the top-level container. It has its own settings, members, and billing.
- A team is a named group of members inside the organization. You might have a "Tech" team and a "Worship" team, each responsible for different work.
Set up your organization
Create your organization and give it a name. See Create an organization.
Organization settings — including members and organization billing — are available to owners and administrators. Your personal settings live in Account.
Organize people into teams
Once members have joined, group them into teams so you can assign and scope work cleanly. See Manage teams.
