Sermon settings
Set a sermon's title, series, key passage, schedule, and other details.
Every sermon has a Settings tab where you manage its details — what it's called, which series it belongs to, its key passage, when and where it's being delivered, and its status. You'll find it in the tab row at the top of the canvas.

The main fields
Changes save automatically — text fields save when you click away, and pickers save as soon as you choose.
- Title — what the sermon is called. Required.
- Series — link the sermon to a series. Linking can also inherit the series' ProPresenter template.
- Key passage (church organizations) — the single anchor reference for the sermon, like "Romans 8:28."
- ProPresenter template (church organizations) — the projection template used on export. Defaults to the series' template, then your organization's default.
- Source type — where this sermon came from: written here, imported from Word, imported from PDF, and so on.
- Source URL — a link back to an original prep document, if you have one.
- Notes — free-form notes for yourself.
Passages and themes
In the sidebar you can tag the sermon beyond its single key passage:
- Passages (church organizations) — add every scripture reference the sermon touches. See Passages.
- Themes — tag the sermon's themes. These are often inherited from the series or your organization.
These tags feed Insights and make sermons easier to find later.
Scheduling delivery
A sermon can be delivered more than once, at more than one venue. From the sidebar:
Scheduled deliveries appear on your Series Calendar and in the venue's Campus View.
Status and copies
The top of the Settings tab shows the sermon's status as it moves through your workflow: Draft → Review → Finalized → Delivered → Archived. Status changes can also trigger automations — for example, creating a task when a sermon reaches Review.
If a sermon was copied from another, you'll also see a copy count and a link back to the original here.
